THREE people were arrested after a man suffered a suspected fractured cheekbone in a 'violent altercation', said police.
Police attended a report of a disturbance in a house on Parkwood Avenue, West Wylam in Prudhoe at 7 am on Friday.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said a disagreement between a number of people had turned physical and violent leading one man to be taken to hospital.

A man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and a man and woman were arrested on suspicion of affray.
A spokesman for Northumbria Police said:
“Shortly after 7 am on Friday (April 15) officers received a report of a disturbance at an address on Parkwood Avenue, West Wylam.
“It was reported that a number of people inside the address, who were known to each other, had been involved in a verbal disagreement that had turned into a violent altercation.
“Officers attended the scene and found one man who had suffered a suspected fractured cheekbone. He was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment.
“A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, while a 45-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were also arrested on suspicion of affray.
“All three suspects have been released on police bail. Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
