A CORDON was put in place after a two-car crash at Hexham's market.
Police and firefighters responded to a call of a collision before 10am on Wednesday at the undercover market area known as the Shambles on Market Place.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision in the car park behind the shambles.
At the time of the incident, there was a stall selling plants that had to temporarily stop.

Police are still investigating what exactly happened and how one of the columns of the marketplace was hit and crumbled to the floor.
A force spokesperson said: “Shortly before 10 am today (Wednesday) we were alerted to a two-vehicle collision on Market Place, Hexham.
“Thankfully nobody was seriously injured.”
A fire spokesman added: "A call came in at 10am. Hexham crew attended just to make the scene safe with cordons."
