A golf club claims it is 'fully in the swing for its 2022 season' after great results from competitions.
Hexham Golf club is thrilled with the results of its first few competitions of the 2022 season
The first competition was the RVI Foursomes and Daily Mail Foursomes, where the winners were Pat Borthwick and Mary Oliver with 35 points on countback from Lyn Donaldson and Mary Williams. Pat and Mary now go on to represent Hexham in the final at Seahouses in August.
Another competition that some members competed in was the National Playing Fields where Paula Forster won with a score of 74 with Sue Crawford as the runner-up with a score of 75.
The third competition was the Gasgoine Tray, which was won by Linda Conway with 39 points.
And, the final competition results were Medel & MNT1 the winner was Elaine Oakley with a net of 69, followed by the runner-up of Mary Williams with a score of 72.
