National Rail has announced some more continued distruption between Newcastle and Hexham.
National Rail has announced the reopening of the train lines between Hexham and Newcastle after its trains were stopped due to vandalism of equipement.
The annoncement of the vandalism was made around 8am this morning (Wednesday,May 18) and passengers were urged to use buses until it was sorted which was around the suggested time of 11am.
Despite lines between the two towns have now opened, passengers are advised that delays may still occur.
National Rail's latest tweet said : "Lines have now reopened following vandalism of some railway equipment between Hexham and Newcastle.
"However, whilst service recovers, trains may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised."
