Organisers are calling for participants for the seventh annual dog gun charity event.
Retired Police Officer and Professional gundog trainer and working dog breeder Frank Geraghty, is hoping to attract participants for his seventh annual gun dog charity event which raises money for Cancer UK.
The event will be on 16 July at Blacklot,Spartylea in Allenheads.
"I organise this Charity event every year and it is very special for me as it is in memory of my Mother, Maureen Geraghty, who died of cancer when I was only 15 years old," Frank said.
"I too suffered from Cancer 22 years ago, so it's done to aid research into this terrible disease, to treat and hopefully prevent others suffering from it.
"It day is two events in one. A competitive Gundog Working Test and a KC Working Gundog Certificate day on Dummies.
"On the day dogs entered will be tested on their basic gundogs skills using canvas dummies and firing blanks.
"Any dog trained as a Gundog may enter, this includes crossbreeds and non-Kennel Club registered dogs.
"Entries is £30 and will close on the 9th of July 2022.
