Three men have completed six rounds in a 24-hour challenge for charity.
Three members of Hexham Golf club have completed a 24-hour golf challenge to raise money for a charity close to their hearts.
Jonathan Richardson, Jamie Brown and Joe McStravick raised £2,500 Cancer Trust - which means a lot to the group as all of them have lost family because of cancer.
There was another member in the group Richard Watson, who was to take part but was ill and could not take part.
Speaking about the experience, Jamie said: "It was really challenging but we had great support from members.
"We played six rounds of golf and four holes, 112 holes and over 70,000 steps. we have now raised over £2500 with donations still continuing to come in.
"During the night we used glow in the dark balls which was great fun.
"Unfortunately Richard was unable to take part due to illness but myself joe and Jonathan managed to complete it from 4am - 4am.
"The last support was head pro at the club Andy paisley with pizzas and beers at 22:00
"It was much needed after 19 hours of golf!
He adds: "A massive thank you to all the people that came out to support us, they all brought us supplies to keep us going as well as great words of encouragement which really helped us get through it."
