A number of churches around the North East has paid tribute to TV star's family.
Saturday Night Takeaway host Declan Donnelly's brother, Father Dermott Donnelly, has died on this evening (July 8) after it was reported he was 'extremely unwell in hospital' earlier today.
The 55-year-old was taken to hospital after collapsing in a 'sudden' incident, he then passed away a few hours later.
Father Donnelly was a part of the Pontop Partnership, a partnership of ten Catholic parishes in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle.
A statement from Diocese of Hexham & Newcastle announced the news on Facebook.
It said: " It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Fr Dermott Donnelly who died peacefully this afternoon in hospital. This has come as a great shock to all of us. Please pray for the repose of his soul and keep his family, especially his mother, in your prayers at this difficult time. Funeral arrangements will follow when finalised. May he Rest in Peace

Since the news was anounced, other churches have paid tributes to him and his family.
Stanley, Dipton & Byermoor Catholic Parishes, St Thomas of Canterbury, Billingham said:
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Father Dermott Donnelly.
Please remember Father Dermott in your prayers and pray for the repose of his soul.
