A MUSIC festival has announced a Glastonbury artist will perform at the event.
Tickets are now on sale for Scoop Music Festival, which will be held at Burnhopeside Hall in Durham from Friday, July 29 until Saturday, July 30.
Along with live music and DJs, food and family-friendly entertainment, a variety of camping options are available.
Founded in 2018 by Tristan Raine, the festival will be held on the grounds of Burnhopeside Hall, a World Heritage site, for the first time.
The country house setting promises a peaceful festival vibe, with 18 acres of gardens and woodland stretching over 475 acres.
Bands set to perform include acclaimed Mumford and Sons tribute band, Chasing Mumford, renowned R.E.M. tribute band, Stipe, Teesside's treasured ska and two-tone band, The Skapones, and fan-favourites and Newcastle Brit-Pop connoisseurs, The National Anthems.
Fresh from Glastonbury, Hayley Mckay is the final addition to the line-up.
The Hot Country TV Awards UK Entertainer of the Year hit number one in the Ignition Country Charts and was voted Top 3 best singles in Ireland.
Scoop Festival has announced stripped back acoustic sets, as well as a 'Secret Forest Stage', where festival-goers can enjoy the sounds of Deep House surrounded by scenic views, courtesy of Deep Fix Recordings.
Attendees are promised a weekend full of live music and entertainment for all ages and genres.
