Allendale Leek Show was a success, with more than 300 exhibits.
The Allen Valley and Kings Head Leek Club show, held in Allendale Village Hall, had 332 exhibits, filling the hall to capacity.
Mark Little with a stand of leeks measuring 179.59 cubic inches completed a double after winning the leek show in Whitfield the previous week.
Leek trophies were also awarded to John Maughan, who was the Leek Runner Up and Best Leeks Without Cover, and Rachel Short was the Most Improved Leek Grower.

In the members' section, trophies were awarded to Bryen Myers with his vast array of vegetables for Most Points and the Best Exhibit with his collection of vegetables.
James Little won for Best Truss of Tomatoes and Best Six Tomatoes. John Short won for Most Points in the flower section and Best Bowl of Cut Flowers.
In the open section, the trophies were awarded to Robin Rutter for Most Points in the Vegetable Section. David Thirlwell won for Best Exhibit with his stand of tomatoes, Don Thomson for Most Points in the flower section and John Davison for Best Chrysanthemum Exhibit.
The trophy for Best Onion Exhibit in the show was awarded to Mark Henderson.
Trophies were presented by John Thirlwell.
