A LEEK show took place at Bardon Mill.
The Bowes Annual Leek Club celebrated winners Nicola Charlton, David Graham and Jim Connelly with their leeks of 1,555.02 cubic inches, 1,00.56 inches and 86.31 inches respectively.
Best Leek in the Show was Nicola Charlton, who also won Highest Place Lady.

Jim Connelly won the Ian Dodd Memorial Trophy and Most Improved Leeks in Show went to Mick Robson.
David Nicholson won Wooden Leek Shield.
Kenneth Makepeace won first place for onions, James Reynolds was second place and third was Jeanette Oliver.
