A PONTELAND rugby player has been selected for the England Deaf Rugby Team.
Ponteland Rugby Club's 1st team player Will McCubbin will travel to Argentina in April next year to represent his country in the Rugby Sevens World Cup.
McCubbin is the third international player from the club, joining Hakon Steingrimsen, representing Norway, and Callum Chick for England.
Back-rower Chick turns out for Newcastle Falcons.
