WITH Bonfire Night 2022 approaching, we took a look at Hexham's successful Round Table Bonfire Night over the years.
The event was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid pandemic.
Organisers were pleased to announce the spectacle will take place this year on Saturday, November 5.
The event at the Sele normally brings thousands of people from across the region to Hexham, and raises tens of thousands of pounds for local charities in the process.
The Round Table Chairman traditionally lights the bonfire, which in the past has been Mark Christer in 2010, Jon Winter in 2007 and Dominic Cook in 2011.
This year's event will mark 70 years of the Round Table being held.
This year, there will be no traditional bonfire, but there will be a fireworks display.
We take a look back at the event from years gone by.
