CHRISTMAS events will take place in Corbridge, which will start from Thursday next week.
Various events including an annual Christmas Tree Festival, carol singing and late night shopping will take place in the centre of Corbridge.
There will also be Christmas lights throughout the village.

A 'Preview Evening' will be held on Thursday, November 24 from 5pm until 8pm.
There will be late night shopping at shops including Vintage at the Tower, Forum Books, The Corbridge Larder, Corbridge Garden Room, M J Forster Gallery, Reflections, Chapter 38, Purple Hound, Shelley Louise Home Fragrances and Jessie Juniper, plus music and drinks at some of them.
St. Andrew's Church Corbridge will be holding their tenth Christmas Tree Festival this year. Now a regular event in the Corbridge Christmas calendar, the Christmas Tree festival attracts people from all over the country and even from abroad.
The annual Christmas Tree Festival will take place at the church from Friday, December 2 until Tuesday, December 6.
The Tree Festival fills St Andrew's church with decorated trees displayed by groups, organisations, businesses and schools from Corbridge parish.
On Saturday, December 3 and Sunday, December 4 there will be community carol singing at 3pm, and there will be more carol singing at various points during the Christmas Tree Festival.
There will be a Parish Communion Service at 10am on Sunday, December 4.
Refreshments will be served from 10am until 4pm.
On Monday, December 5 Hexham Brass and the Prudhoe Gleemen choir will perform carols and festive music from early evening in the churchyard at St Andrew's, while the Christmas Tree Festival will be open from 9.30am until 8pm.
Some village shops and businesses will again be open late at night for visitors to do some late night shopping.
Friday, December 23 will bring Carols For All into St Andrew's church yard at 7pm.
This year's Christmas Tree Festival timetable at St Andrew's is as follows:
- Friday, December 2 from 9.30am to 7pm
- Saturday, December 3 from 9.30am to 7pm
- Sunday, December 4 from 11.30am to 5pm
- Monday, December 5 from 9.30am to 8pm
- Tuesday, December 6 from 9.30am to 5pm.
