An adaption of a popular TV show will have audiences in 'tears of laughter'.
The Queen’s hall Theatre Club will be performing a stage play of The Vicar of Dibley on 24 to 26 November at 7.30 pm.
The stage play by Ian Gower and Paul Carpenter, is adapted from the original TV series by Richard Curtis and Paul Mayhew-Archer with kind permission of Tiger Aspect Productions.
Audiences will see Geraldine as she wins over Jim Trott, Frank, Owen and co. despite getting them to give up their favourite things for Lent and as she acts as a guardian angel to the hilariously awkward love affair of Hugo and Alice.
In the show, the Hexham Community Choir will appear, as well as some local youngsters in role as the Teletubbies! Tickets are £14/£12 (conc.)
