Several members of a community fire station have been recognised for their service.
Allendale Community Fire Station crew members have come away from Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service Long Service and Excellence Awards Ceremony with several awards honouring their commitment to their work.
The awards also mentioned Allendale's beloved fire crew member Nigel Baynes, who passed away earlier this year.
Dave Stevenson reflected on the night and said: "Last night, I was privileged to attend the Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service Long Service and Excellence Awards Ceremony.
"Our watch manager, Willie Huddleston, and crew manager, Michael Fairless, were both presented with their long service awards by the High Sheriff of Northumberland, Colonel David Royds, and our chief fire officer, Paul Hedley.
"Willie has completed over 30 years of service here at Allendale and Michael over 44 years. Both are truly dedicated to the role and it is a massive achievement to have given so much of their lives to helping our community.
"Wendy, Max, and Molly Baynes were also present as our beloved Nigel was honoured. Wendy was presented with a bronze figurine and received a standing ovation from all present. An emotional moment that bought tears to many eyes.
"I was massively proud to be presented with a certificate of achievement on behalf of the Allendale crew and the public."
