Police have confirmed no one was left with serious injuries after a two-vehicle road incident.

On Sunday, November 27 in Haltwhistle at around 2pm - an incident occurred on the A69 near Coanwood turn-off.

This resulted in one of the carriageways being closed.

Shortly after the incident, police confirmed no one was seriously injured and the road reopened.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Shortly after 2pm on Sunday (November 27), we received a report of a two-vehicle collision on the A69 at Haltwhistle.

“Emergency services attended the scene and one lane of the carriageway was closed to allow for recovery of the vehicles.

“No one is believed to have suffered serious injuries in the incident and the road was fully reopen a short time later.”
