The Golden Dragon in Hexham is reopening its restaurant after three years.
This has been welcomed by residents in Tynedale - with responses of 'We can't wait'.
The reopening is confirmed for November 29.
The Golden Dragon had been operating a takeaway-only service.
Hexham Courant readers Lynne Mundy and Diane Jordan said: "I can't wait" and "I love going there."
Angela McElvanney and Ian Taylor-Lynch added: "Brilliant" along with Doreen Lancaste who said "That will be good."
Michael Dunn added:"Good news, I'm looking forward to the reopening."
Jane Bowman reflected on The Golden Dragon's success in previous years and said: "I love this. I hope it will be open on a dinner time too. It was always busy at dinner time."
