TYNEDALE Hospice at Home shops are now accepting The Charity Shop Gift Card.
The Charity Shop Gift Card is a social enterprise that has been developed and launched in association with the Charity Retail Association and is the only nationally accepted, multi-retailer gift card that can be spent exclusively in charity shops.
Ashleigh Trotter, Retail Operations Manager for Tynedale Hospice at Home, said: "We’re thrilled to join the gift card scheme.
"With all of our care and support delivered free of charge, raising funds is critical for the hospice and so we’re thrilled to be able to offer a truly sustainable gift card that can be spent in all of our shops and other participating charities across the region."
The gift cards will support the growing interest in second-hand items and will help charities boost their own income by giving them their first collective opportunity to tap into the £7billion-a-year gift card market.
