TWO Hexham fitness instructors have teamed up with the region's biggest super club to bring a new Friday night out experience.
FITnight, spearheaded by Jennie Rosby and Beckie Burns, launches on January 20 at The Lofts in Newcastle.
Jenny, of Active Northumberland, and Beckie, of Wentworth Leisure Centre, have been delivering Les Mills classes locally for the last few years.

"Exercise gives you a healthy high and research has shown that when you exercise to a beat you work for longer and harder than you would without it", said Jennie. "So The Lofts is the perfect venue for FITnight.
"The exercise programming is current and there are options for everyone so you can work as little or as much as you like but the best part about it is that everyone can do it together.
"FITnight is the perfect night out. It’s loud, it’s fun, it’s exciting but it’s healthy. January seemed the perfect time to launch: A new type of night out for the new year."
The club-style classes will be BodyCombat - a martial arts-inspired workout - and BodyAttack - a high-energy cardio workout with a focus on sports conditioning. Both are suitable for all fitness levels.
Jenny added: "It all got dreamed up outside of a kid's gymnastic class.
"It's a new direction for Les Mills, it would usually be in a gym or a fitness club and we're putting it in an annual club because it's all current music and current artists. The movements are also based on the current science coming out of the fitness world.
"It might sound a bit scary, but it's totally new to everybody. If you want to stick to exercise, you've got to enjoy it. Come along and give it a go"
The Lofts is a 1,500-capacity venue which has three separate rooms, a sound system from L-Acoustic and an immersive light and visual show. Two of its three directors, Rob Seaman and John Dance, are from Hexham.
