ONE Lamborgini, 400 hot dogs and 60 billion Mcdonalds' chicken nuggets are among the presents Prudhoe schoolchildren are hoping to receive from Father Christmas this year.
Pupils at Adderlane Academy, on the town's Broomhill Road, have joined children around the world in putting their requests to Santa Claus.
The children at the West Wylam school hope to have made Santa's nice list.
"It really has been very exciting preparing for Christmas this year", said headteacher Emma Potts.
"Particularly, finally being able to invite parents back into school to watch our Christmas performances.
"We have really enjoyed being able to visit our friends at the Manors assisted living facility too, we missed them so much during the pandemic.
"There really is a lot to be grateful for this year."
Children from the school have made Christmas cards for the neighbouring Manors and have carols sung for residents.
They also took part in Christmas festivities in church and played a prominent role at the Prudhoe Christmas light switch-on.
Adderlane Academy was placed in special measures and rated 'inadequate' in 2015 by Ofsted before it was taken over by WISE Academies later that year.
In 2019, the school turned itself around and returned a 'good' rating from the education watchdog.
