A young farmers club's carol singing fundraiser was hailed as a success after it returned for its first year since the pandemic.
Whitley Chapel Young Farmers Club raised more than £700 for Tynedale Hospice at Home by singing Christmas carols around the Whitley Chapel.
A club member said: "Around 15 of our members went carol singing for two days in Whitley chapel and the surrounding areas.
"We do this annually but this year was our first year back after Covid.
"We always sing a mixture of classic and more modern Christmas carols in exchange for donations to a chosen charity.
"This year we have raised £700 for Tynedale Hospice at Home."
Matthew Crowe, fundraising and events offficer at Tynedale Hospice at Home, said: "It is great to see such strong support in the community over the festive period.
"Everyone involved should be very proud, what a fantastic way to spread some cheer while also raising vital funds for Tynedale Hospice at Home.
"The money raised will make a huge difference to families in the area as we move into 2023."
