A VIRAL drink sold out within minutes at Prudhoe's Aldi.
The supermarket began stocking Prime Hydration Drink as a ‘special buy’ today (December 29).
Eager customers were primed early doors, with some queuing for more than 30 minutes to get a taste of the drink made famous by Youtube stars KSI and Logan Paul. The queue is believed to have been up to B&M on the town’s Tyne View Retail Park.
The drink, which is 10 per cent coconut water, contains electrolytes, B vitamins and BCAAs, has zero sugar and is around 20 calories per bottle.
The drink, also stocked in Asda, comes in three different flavours: Blue Raspberry, Lemon and Lime, and Ice Pop.
A purchase limit of one of each variant per customer was in place on the £1.99 drink.
Aldi opened in the town in January to much fanfare. It was the first branch in the area.
