A COUNTY Durham pop sensation will perform his latest music at a Prudhoe school in February.
Fourteen-year-old pop sensation ZAK’s new single 'My Girl' is described as bouncy and upbeat.
‘My Girl’ will release on Sony Music on February 17.
The song is said to explore the pain and loss of break-up before morphing into a classic 'miss you' and 'want you back' song.
Written by ZAK, Mike Krompass, who also produced, and Dan Taylor, ‘My Girl’ was recorded at BASE Culture UK after Mike heard ZAK’s music.
ZAK tasted success with his Christmas single, ‘Christmas Time with You’, which has garnered over 100,000 streams. ZAK’s debut album is due later in 2023.
From County Durham, ZAK is an avid performer inspired by artists new and old.
Having performed since the age of two and making his stage debut a year later, ZAK thrives on stage. As well as being a gifted musician, ZAK is passionate about spreading the word about antibullying.
ZAK has had personal experience of being bullied and feels he can now offer guidance to others around bullying, online cyber safety, and overall mental health.
For ZAK, the best way out of the situation was to move out of it altogether and he is now homeschooled, which led to furthering his music career.
On February 8, ZAK will perform at Highfield Middle School in Prudhoe.
