Emergency services team up to respond to a vehicle on fire on a major road.
Police and Fire services were alerted to a recovery truck on fire near Styford Roundabout on the A69.
On arrival, the emergency services temporarily closed the road to work quickly on the vehicle.
The road reopened once the fire was put out.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “At about 7.45pm yesterday (Monday) we received a report of a truck that was on fire on the A69 eastbound near Corbridge.
“Emergency services attended the scene and the fire was extinguished. The road was temporarily closed but has since reopened.”
