ENQUIRIES are ongoing following a report of a burglary at a Darras Hall home last night.
Northumbria Police said they received a report of a burglary at an address on Runnymede Road at 7pm yesterday (January 29).
A spokesman for the force said: "It was reported that offenders had broken an upstairs window before gaining entry to the property and stealing a quantity of cash.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
The National Police Air Service (NPAS) assisted Northumbria Police twice during the evening as part of the enquiries into the burglary.
Witnesses who have any information are being asked to report it to Northumbria Police via the ‘Tell Us Something’ page of their website or call 101 quoting NP-20230129-0924.
