A 16-YEAR-OLD boy injured in a fatal stabbing that claimed the life of 15-year-old Holly Newton has been discharged from hospital.
The boy sustained serious injuries after the incident on Priestpopple in Hexham on Friday (January 27).
The teenager spent almost a week in hospital.
Another boy, 16, who cannot be named for legal reasons, could face trial in the summer on charges of murder, attempted murder and possessing a knife.
