A TEENAGER charged with the murder of Holly Newton is expected to enter a plea in three weeks' time.
The 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a knife.
The teen from Gateshead will next appear before the courts on February 27.

At an earlier hearing at Newcastle Crown Court, on February 1, Judge Paul Sloan KC told the defendant he could appear via videolink for the plea hearing.
Holly, 15, was found injured in the Priestpopple area of Hexham at 5.10pm on January 27 and later died in hospital.
Another 16-year-old boy spent almost a week in hospital after he sustained serious injuries in the town centre attack.
