YOUTH hostel 'The Sill' at Hadrian's Wall was featured in new show hosted by TV star Robson Green.
Robson Green's Weekend Escapes started on BBC Two on Monday, January 23.
In episode 10, Robson visited his hometown of Hexham and visited the site with his uncle Matheson.
The pair made some Geordie stottie bread then joined a national park guided walk along the Roman remains before checking in at the hostel.
A spokesperson from the hostel said: "It was fabulous to have the publicity for the hostel and to have Robson and his uncle stay with us.

"We are glad that they had a great time staying with us."
Before the episode ended, the pair headed west to the heather-clad moorlands of Allendale to Northumberland Honey Co Beekeepers & Mead Makers
