A COLLISION was reported to police early this morning, which led to a lane closure in Hexham.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Shortly after 8.20am this morning (Monday, February 13), police received a report a vehicle had collided with a number of parked cars on Corbridge Road in Hexham.
“Emergency services attended and no-one is believed to have been injured.
“The driver of the vehicle left the area prior to officers arriving, and searches are ongoing to locate them and establish the causes of the collision."
Lanes have now reopened after police were on scene assisting with traffic management.
