A group of emergency services teamed up to respond to an incident on farmland.

North East Ambulance Service activated North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team (NTMRT) and Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team (NNMPMRT) to attend an incident on farmland between Gilsland and Greenhead on Monday, February 13.

The Teams deployed three 4x4 response vehicles, luckily two of those vehicles were already on the road with team members taking part in blue light response driving training.

Other support came from The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNNAS), who was also tasked to respond to the incident.

A NNMPMRT spokesperson said: "Once GNAAS had landed on and assessed the situation, it was confirmed that Mountain Rescue resources were no longer required.

"By this point a small number of local team members were already on scene and they supported with the evacuation of the patient to the aircraft.

"We wish the patient well for a full and swift recovery."
