BITE-SIZED acts of kindness will be handed out by a dessert business on the streets of Tynedale.
The Pudding Parlour, based in Prudhoe, will hand out cupcakes to members of the public on Friday, February 17 on Random Acts of Kindness Day.
Co-owners and siblings Kristy Giblin, 38, and Greg Small, 32, are from Stocksfield and started The Pudding Parlour together in 2013 on Hexham’s Haugh Lane.
During Covid, they decided to expand their premises at Prudhoe and now offer retail and trade supply all out of the Prudhoe venue.

Kristy said: "Last year, we decided to celebrate Acts of Kindness Day by giving out cupcakes to everybody and it had a really good response. We did a few on the high street in Hexham, and we dropped off to local doctor surgeries and pharmacies because we'd just come out of Covid.
"This year, rather than going into pharmacies and surgeries we're going to give them to more random people on the street. We're going to visit Blaydon Precinct, Hexham high street, Prudhoe, Stocksfield, Riding Mill, Ovingham and Wylam.
"We just want to spread a little bit of cheer really," Kristy said.
"When we started it last year, we were coming out the back end of Covid and we thought it was a nice way to particularly thank NHS staff, pharmacies and doctors.
"It went down so well, this year we decided that because morale in general is a little bit low, we'd take it to your everyday person on the street. Everybody could do with a little pick me up at the minute," she said.
"I think it's something we probably will keep doing because it had a lovely response, and it doesn't take a lot of effort on our part, and for an extra couple hours working the bakery one day it makes a lot of people's days so much better."
She added they might drop into some local businesses who regularly show them support to thank them.
The Pudding Parlour will celebrate its 10 year business anniversary in November.
