THEFT of a car's number plates was reported to police on Tuesday.
The Manors, a retirement and assisted living facility in Prudhoe, reported that a member of its staff had their number plates stolen while their vehicle was parked in the staff car park.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Just after 6pm on Tuesday, February 28, police received a report that number plates had been stolen from a vehicle parked at The Manors premises on Adderlane Road, Prudhoe."
"The number plates are believed to have been stolen sometime between 8am and 5.30pm on Tuesday.
"Enquires are ongoing into the theft and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or online, quoting log NP-20230228-0848."
The Manors added it has CCTV equipment and are working with police to investigate.
