A sports club hopes to encourage young adults to enjoy cricket without any limitations caused by their disability.
Northumberland cricket board (NCB) are hoping to continue their work of creating opportunities for disabled young children and adults to develop skills and friendships by offering more places at their hubs.
One parent, Mayor of Hexham Derek Kennedy said: “Oscar has really enjoyed cricket, his ability to hit the ball and hand eye coordination has increased.
"Oscar has a number of limitations, so sport is a good challenge to improve his physical abilities.

"Oscar and friends have a fun time and are well looked after by Sam Biggs and team.”
Disability Development Officer, Sam Biggs said: "We are proud to continue the development of cricket opportunities for young people with disabilities.
"By creating free community cricket hubs for disabled people aged 12-25, this allows for greater access to cricket and a chance to develop their skills and make new friendships along the way.
"Hexham has had a hub running for over a year now and we've seen a steady increase in participation.
"The session runs weekly on a Tuesday 5pm to 6pm at Wentworth leisure centre.
