A POPULAR Mexican restaurant has reopened.
Little Mexico, based on Market Street Hexham, reopened on Thursday, March 30.
The restaurant had been closed since early December, which is when new owner William Reay said he took over the business.
In a statement posted on Facebook, the business said: "We are open!
"Thanks everyone for your patience with us. We are now open for the foreseeable future.
"Opening hours are as normal 11.30am to 7pm from Tuesday to Thursday, and 11.30am to 9.30pm from Friday to Saturday. We are now however closed on Mondays as well as Sundays to allow ourselves an extra day for prep.
"The tacos are being rolled, and the juices are being pressed, get yourselves down," the post said.
Little Mexico incorporated a juice bar into their premises on Hexham's Market Street in 2021.
Little Mexico has its own tortilla machine, and everything from nachos to salsas is home-made.
Customers can choose from Quesadillas, tacos, burritos, salads and more, with a variety of fillings on offer.
Little Mexico was contacted for comment.
