DARING competitors are being invited to break free from an escape room's new themed challenge.
Project Escape, on Hastille Bank in Hexham has openend a new room for visitors to enjoy.
Since opening in 2021, the business already has the Jailbreak, The Cursed Attic and Sherlocked: Case of the Hexham Heads but now it has announced the new adventure.
Escaping Egypt The Lost Tomb which opened on April 1.
But what is the story?
Well... from the wesbite it says;
"Gather your team and embark on a thrilling adventure to uncover the secrets of ancient Egypt.
You stumble upon your grandfather's diary in the attic.
It details his expedition to discover a mysterious tomb that has been lost for centuries. With the help of his notes and clues scattered throughout the room, you must solve the mysteries and decipher the secrets and escape before time runs out.

The fate of your family's legacy is in your hands.
Will you uncover the treasure buried within the tomb or will you be trapped within its walls forever?"
Clare Strain, manager of Project Escape in Hexham said: "After creating the Jailbreak room last year, which has been very popular, we wanted to make another room.
"All the staff were involved in coming up with different ideas which led us to an Egyptian theme. Hopefully this Escape Room will be just as popular as our others."
