Drivers may experience disruption on a country road after an Openreach van is blocking the way.
The vehicle is on a track lane that goes from the fords and joins the road to Hindley in Stocksfield.
It is believed the driver is okay, and the incident happened when he reversed back to let another car through, which made the vehicle go slightly up to the left on the bank and tipped the van.
The driver is currently with the AA.
