Starbucks has officially opened at Newcastle International Airport.
The popular beverage store returned to the site after eight years and opened earlier this week near the check-in area on the ground floor underneath the elevators.
Travellers were alerted to the news of it coming to the site last month.
Starbucks joins current venders; Greggs, Bar 11, Upper Crust, Burger King, Quaystone Bar and Kitchen.
Dean Ward, Director of Commercial at Newcastle International Airport said:“We are delighted to welcome Starbucks back to Newcastle International Airport. Starbucks is well known for its quality products and excellent customer service, therefore I am sure it will prove popular with our passengers.
“It is our aim to provide the best possible experience for our passengers and today’s opening marks the start of a significant program of investment that will enhance the food and beverage offering at the Airport over the next 18 months.”
