CO-WORKING is to be trialled in Ovington and Bellingham.
Ovington Social Club's function room and the First & Last Brewery tap room will be converted into temporary coworking spaces as part of research supported by Northumbria and Lincoln University.
The informal spaces offer people the opportunity to meet other workers in rural communities.
Ovington will open on June 16 and First & Last on June 23.
The trial follows the opening of Samespace in Hexham in March last year.
The co-working space was founded by Aidan Dunphy to give people working remotely the opportunity to have a designated work space.
