Hexham Courant readers have had their say about the Card Factory opening in Hexham late June.
Senior bosses at the Card Factory have announced that it will be opening a store in Hexham and hope to open it by late June.
The store will be at the former site of Clintons on Fore Street, which closed earlier this year in April.
The news of it closing did not surprise many people as the card retailer announced it would be shutting down some of its UK stores at the start of 2023 and included a list of towns it would effect.
In its place, Card Factory, a retailer of greeting cards, dressings and gifts will be employing six members of staff.

Valerie Lambert started the conversation and said: "Excellent l love the Card Factory."
Her excitement was continued by Pamela Robbie, who added:" [I] Am pleased. I like the card factory.

Upon hearing the news, Carol Diamond rushed to tag Richard Lewis and said:"This will please Flo."
After the closure of Clintons, the site has been left vacant with many wondering what will replace it, however, Lynn Porter believes she knew who would be occupying the space. She said:"Natalia Hadland see!! Work Mother knows hahah."
Additionally, Sarah-Jane Bonnar tagged another phsyic who looked into the future of who was coming to Hexham.
She said: "Sarah Weatheritt you were right with your theory lol!".
Also thriving of the positivity, the new business will bring, Bruiser Youngs Harris cheers:"
Good news for once."
Derek Kennedy also added a comment and is thrilled about the news. He said: “We welcome a new store on the high street during these chastened times. Fore Steet is a major retail area and we need the outlets full to enhance our town.”
However, one person is worried about local businesses and how it will compete with a big National company.
