Tynedale Ladies will be hosting tournament on Friday, June 16 at the Tynedale Beer Festival with the aim of showcasing the talented teams in the north east.
Six teams from Tynedale Ladies, Novos Ladies, Darlington Mowden Park Girls and Ryton RFC will take part in the tournament which kicks off at 6.30pm.
A spokeswoman from the club said: "One of the teams is made up of previous members of Tynedale Panthers, which is our girls team, so it is very exciting and special of them to come back to not only pay us a visit to play too.
"Spectators from both the beer festival and the public are most welcome to cheer the teams on and enjoy what is expected to be a showcase of local women's rugby skills.
"Tynedale Ladies are always happy to welcome new members to our inclusive and friendly team either to train and or play in games.
We have members of all ages and we are very proud to have multiple mothers and daughters playing together too."
