A Land Rover driver has been fined after a traffic camera on the A69 recorded them driving at a speed 14 mph above the limit.
Allan Gallimore, 40, from Kimmeter Place, Annan, pled guilty to speeding on a single-carriageway road in Hexham.
Gallimore was driving a Land Rover on the A69 Westbound, B6531 to A686 Junctions on September 15, 2022, when a speed camera recorded him exceeding the 60 mph legal speed limit.
The device captured that he was driving at 74 mph.
As a result of his guilty plea on May 2, 2023, he was fined £166, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services amounting to £66, and costs of £110.
The court also gave three points to his driving record.
The DVLA has also been notified.
