A POPULAR beer festival was hailed a success by its organisers and visitors.
Thousands turned up to the annual Tynedale Beer and Cider Festival at the Tynedale Rugby Club, in Corbridge, which started on Friday, June 16 and finished on Sunday, June 18.
During the event many enjoyed the return of great music, beers and cider and local food in one of the most anticipated event of the year.
"Once again, we have had a very successful festival, with thousands of local people visiting us over the 4 days," Ian Cave, Chair of the Tynedale Beer & Cider Festival committee.
"The festival is a huge undertaking and we want to especially thank the 200 or so volunteers who run the event each year and also all the local businesses that support the festival as sponsors.
"We hope to see everyone again in 2024!"
