Northumbria Police have confirmed that no one was seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash on the A69 at the weekend.
The collision, which happened on Sunday, June 25 on the A69 after the westbound turnoff near Hexham, involved a car and a lorry and after emergency services attended the scene.
A force spokesman said: “Shortly after 9.35am on Sunday police received a report of a two-vehicle collision involving a car and a lorry on the A69 westbound, after the Hexham exit.
“Emergency services attended the scene where thankfully no serious injuries were reported.”
The road was closed for a short while before later reopening to traffic.
