MOTORISTS in Tynedale will have three major road closures to contend with over the coming weeks.
But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
- A69, will run from Monday this week (June 26) until 4pm July 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A69 Hexham to Corbridge, one lane closed to allow drainage repairs.
- A69, from 7.30am July 3 to 6pm August 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A69 Hexham Bypass, one lane closed in each direction to allow bridge works.
- A69, from 9am July 4 to 4pm July 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A69 Corbridge Interchange to Thornborough.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
