AN EXHIBITION created by primary school children is on display at an art gallery.
Allendale Forge Studios is a community interest company (CIC) which is run by a group of volunteers.
Zoe Bell, a volunteer, said the Forge has rented studio space, a shop, a commercial gallery and Studio 11, the most versatile space where workshops, meetings, exhibitions and community events take place.
Children from Allendale Primary School created an exhibition inspired by artists around the globe which is on display in Studio 11.
"The Allendale Primary School exhibition runs until July 17. The wonderful exhibition curated by Miss White of Allendale Primary includes work from every year group. The pupils have taken inspiration from artists and art techniques around the globe, and we are in awe at what they have created.
"Any local school, community group, club or organisation wanting to run a non-commercial exhibition can apply to use the space. We are looking forward to welcoming Whitfield C of E Primary School in September for their own exhibition.
"As a CIC, we are always looking for volunteers with various skills to join our team. We are currently seeking someone to help look for funding to replace our ailing lift," she said.
