Moments, an eclectic exhibition of visual arts, is taking place at the Queen’s Hall in Hexham from June 30 to July 18.
Curated by staff and students from Queen Elizabeth High School (QEHS), the exhibition showcases the work of over 30 young creatives.
The pieces on display were created by students who took their A-levels during the Covid era, as well as current A-level students at QEHS.
The work includes photography, graphic design, and various other mediums, showcasing the broad range of talent among the young artists.
William Pym, an art teacher at QEHS, emphasized the significance of the exhibition for the school and the wider community.
He highlighted the scale and ambition of the students' artwork, as well as their continued success in pursuing creative paths.
He said: "We have already had some great feedback from the Queens Hall visitors who are often astonished by the work that comes from the young creatives of Hexham – it is a tribute to them."
Helen Mills, the Audience and Sales Manager at Queen's Hall, praised the exhibition for its beauty and professionalism, encouraging people to visit before the exhibition concludes on July 18.
Among the exhibiting artists is Jesse Elliott, an ex-student who recently finished a Foundation degree at Newcastle College.
Jessie will be pursuing a painting and printmaking course at the Glasgow School of Art.
Eliza Strassheim, another exhibiting artist, completed her foundation course at Newcastle College and will begin her studies in Exeter in September.
