A PUBLIC call for photographers to send their best photos of the Tyne Rivers for a calendar has been announced.
The Tyne Rivers Trust has revealed that their 2024 photo competition is now open for entries for their 20th anniversary, which has been sponsored by EGGER.
The Trust produces a calendar each year that goes up for sale and raises vital funds to help them continue their work of mitigating the effects of climate change.
Entries are open to all ages and abilities and will be chosen by members of the Tyne Rivers Trust team to create a year’s worth of photos that show the River Tyne in all of its glory throughout the seasons.
Members of the public can enter up to three images and send them to info@tyneriverstrust.org. The criteria for the images are that they should be; landscape, colour, High resolution (300dpi), and 3 MB in size, additionally with some words about the image – what caught your eye? What do you love about this place? Why did you want to share this one in particular?
Participants should also include their names, address, and telephone number.
The closing date for entries is Friday, August 11 2023.
The calendars will be on sale via the website.
