A page-turning event is returning to Tynedale.
The Hexham Book Festival will be back next year as new dates have been announced for the popular event.
Next year it will be back from Friday, April 26 to Sunday, May 5 with headline authors and jam-packed activities.
Speaking about the upcoming event, Hexham Mayor Derek Kennedy said: "The Hexham Book Festival is a firm favourite in the Hexham diary and we all welcome its return in 2024. We have some amazing authors visiting and it attracts a lot of visitors helping with the economy and reputation of our town as a the cultural capital of Northumberland."
Janie French from Visit Hexham also adds: "It's brilliant that the dates have been released for next year's Hexham Book Festival.
"We know that some visitors build weekends away or holidays around the event, so this is something for the 2024 diary.
"The festival runs over 10 days and always brings such a brilliant buzz to the town. We can't wait."
