Classic cars which will leave the enthusiasts green with envy will gather in Maryport this weekend.
The town's Rotary Club reinstated what used to be an annual festival and its popularity in 2022 ensured that it would return this year.
The classic car event is well on the way to having a good turnout with more vehicles than ever this year.
Some of the entries will cause considerable interest including a Chevrolet Corvette.
This car, originally from the 1950s has become an iconic vehicle.
Other unique models include Bristol, Lagonda, Lotus, Porche and even a 'Robin Hood' which is a special kit car.
The marvelous Police Morris minivan used in Heartbeat will be there along with a Riley Kestrel 1966 which appeared in both Heartbeat, The Royal, and The Damned United.
The festival of cars will be held on the grounds of the Netherhall Rugby Club and transport provided by the Workington Vintage and Heritage Buses for the public to visit the Classic Car event and also enjoy the Taste of the Sea Festival which is taking place in town.
The service will be provided free of charge.
The car festival, like the food festival, will be held on Saturday (August 12) from 10am to 4pm. Entry is £2.50. Food and car facilities are available on the grounds.
