For the second time in recent weeks, it was a case of rain stopped play across the North East on Saturday apart from a trio of games in North Northumberland at Alnmouth & Lesbury, Berwick, and Warenford.
After 16 of the scheduled 22 matches in Division One of the O'Neill Richmonds West Tyne Senior Cricket League, Haydon Bridge continue to set the pace on 257pts, with 2022 champions Humshaugh on 212pts and South Northumberland 1864 in third place on 201pts.
In Division Two where 21 matches are scheduled, Haltwhistle are top on 230pts from 16 games, with Allendale (178pts from 15 games) in second place and Wylam (172pts from 15 games) in third.
